Nature Journal
In this assignment, we were required to watch the EARTH 2007 documentary and jot down facts, personal experiences, observations, and thoughts in a nature journal by organizing info from macro to micro. Additional research was needed; the journal must be handwritten in an infographic manner.
There are 3 main parts in the journal:

introduction (consisting of front cover, personal biography, and summary of our feelings.)

understanding nature ( detail infographic about the importance of nature towards humans, flora, fauna, nature setting, a natural phenomenon found in the documentary),
-
appreciating nature ( favorite scene, environmental issue found in the documentary, and self-reflection).

Once the drafts were completed, I made did some pen outlining and rendering as finishing touches.

My key takeaway from this assignment was I learned how to organize and display information in an infographic manner. Transforming texts to visuals can be challenging but online references really helped, regardless there were still more rooms to improve in this area. Apart from that, I was glad to learn more about the elements of nature and became more aware of environmental issues, with this I had came to respect nature deeply.
I had to research my selected flora, fauna, nature settings, and natural Phenomenon as well as how to make infographics. Also, with no experience of drawing animals or natural landscapes, I self-taught my drawings by referring to online references.
This project trained my critical thinking skills when designing my infographics and learning to organize my information from macro to micro. I needed to ensure that my designs were easy to read, visually supported, organized, and informative.
