Explore My Work
This course provide information regarding principal developments from the
ancient times to revolutionary period to the present day. Students will
undertake a major research and analysis of a significant building, and understand its
influences that led to its development in other architectural aspects.
Overall Reflection
Through the assignment and lectures I was able to appreciate the origins of ancient architecture and how they influence today's architecture, its essential to know the theories derived in the past and synthesize them into our current design. The module was structured well to expose students to this topic and trained our ability to analyze buildings critically.

Most Lectures were conducted online and recorded, which makes it convenient for us to re-watch for revision. Although the tutorials were mainly conducted online, I did not find any troubles having classes, as we were still able to communicate with our tutor via Teams or Zoom.

The tutors often shared new insights on how we can improve our works, and they gave us space for us to explore things ourselves; as a result we were able to learn satisfactory by fully utilizing the learning resources.
