Introduction to Drawings
This assignment was an introduction drawing convention to us, like the different lines and symbols used and different types of orthographic drawings. Our observations skills were also tested when drawing our chosen object.
In this assignment, I had to draw 2 objects: a jar and a sharpener.
Progress 1
I had to produce 3 drawings for the jar. A basic line drawing, a perspective drawing, and a rendered drawing. The following picture was my draft.
Progress 2
For my second item the sharpener, I needed to produce drawings of one elevation view, one plan view, and one section. These were new for me and were more complex compared to the previous category.
Elevation Draft | Plan Draft |

Section Draft |
Present

Taylor's Graduate Learning Capabilities
For the 1st time, I was able to practice drawings conventions and understood the common practice used in technical drawings.
It was our own responsibility to update Mr. Akmal on our progress to receive feedback and to manage our own progress.
Although Mr Akmal was there to guide us, we had to take the initiative to learn many things ourselves. Like hatching was new to me, and I referred to friends' works on how to execute them properly.
