Introduction To Drawing

Explore My Work

Drawing is not just used for creative or artistic expression, it is also a means of visual communication to communicate ideas among people, this is the main key away from this module. ITD teaches us the basic elements and drawing conventions practiced in the construction field and trains us to translate information accurately into our drawings. It is indeed a vital course to build an appropriate foundation for architecture students.

Ms Akmal

My lecturer and Tutor

Mr. Akaml was my lecture and tutor for this module. He is an architect and a lecturer in other universities as well. He gives us all a fun and casual learning environment and constantly motivates us students to keep ongoing. However, Mr Akaml is also strict when it comes to our work and gives constructive feedback as well as useful advice for us to improve further. Overall, I am grateful for his guidance.

Overall Module Reflection

ITD thought me the importance of observation skills so we do not miss out on important information in our drawings

I learned it is vital to translate information accurately or else miscommunication might lead to some errors during the building construction

I understood better of the common drawing convention used in the construction field and it's like an important language to keep in mind later in the future.
