My Space

In this assignment, we had to draw actual spaces by applying correct conventions, calculations, and instruments. This tested our ability to translate a 3d space into 2D orthographic drawings and include all essential information as a means of communication.
Thus, we must produce a set of drawings of our own house space with furniture included. for me, I chose my bedroom.

Progress

We must produce 1 floor plan, 2 internal elevations, and 1 section of the space. As well as a set of detailed drawings of one furniture: plan, elevations, sections, and one zoom-in detail. There were many things to prepare so it was essential that I did my drafts 1st.

Present

Once all drafts were finalized the drawings were inked and ready to submit

It was good to learn and apply the different drawing symbols, line usage, finishes, techniques, and to understand the different drawings of orthographic.

I learned how to communicate with others through my drawings by ensuring all important information was included and all conventions properly drawing to avoid misunderstanding.

Mr Akmal introduced us to new drawings conventions and initially, I did get some wrong, but through Mr Akmal's guidances and by observing others works I managed to have a correct understanding on applying those conventions.
